Hot Neon Microlearning Series
Is an ongoing collection of 45-second animated educational shorts produced by Hot Neon. Each episode delivers a concise learning experience centered on science, history, or other engaging educational topics through a combination of illustration, animation, and motion design.
The project required a fast-paced production pipeline, with a new animated short created each week, rom concept development and asset creation to animation and final delivery. The series is also compiled into long-form YouTube videos each month, combining multiple short episodes into feature-length educational content.
Each short adopts a visual style tailored to its subject while maintaining a cohesive brand identity through clean illustration, motion design, and storytelling. The series was directed, illustrated, and animated by David Kativu.
